Music Monday gets around, but I got the idea from Lauren over at Always Me.

So I’m the biggest sucker for sexy music videos–though to be fair, I heard and liked this song before I saw the video. Another excellent song by LP, same album, would be Lost on You, which I highly suggest you check out immediately.

These songs originally made their way into a writing playlist I was working on where–you guessed it–I was writing about a very make-up/break-up, up-and-down relationship between three people. Sometimes, at least for me, music can help you nail down tricky emotions–things you might not be experiencing yourself, headspace that’s a little harder to get into. These songs absolutely helped me get into the right mentality for the scenes I was addressing at the time.
